Curvejump: Jackson Hole

March 8th-11th, 2018

“Creativity is the power to reject the past, to change the status quo, and to seek new potential. Simply put, aside from using one's imagination - perhaps more importantly - creativity is the power to act.”

Ai Weiwei -- Artist and Activist

join us in Jackson Hole for our flagship Curvejump event, March 8th-11th, 2018.

The theme of this year's event is Creative Leadership.

Curvejump and Jackson Hole were made for each other. Hosting this incredible gathering of creative innovators at the forefront of technology, design, art, athletics and media in our home town is especially inspiring for us and our community.

We carefully curate our Jackson Hole event to bring together the brightest, most switched on and interesting blend of Curvejumpers and their guests. It’s a rare opportunity to shift perspectives from your day to day routine and invest in your own professional and personal development in the incredible setting of Jackson Hole.

The intimate design of Curvejump events allows participants to focus on conversations that matter and interactions that dive below the surface where relationships are built and strengthened.

Curvejump officially begins with a welcome dinner on Thursday, March 8th and runs through Sunday, March 11th.  If you are interested in arriving early for extra time on the snow, we offer a ticket package including a welcome dinner on Wednesday, March 7th and guided skiing/riding Thursday.

Participation is limited and we expect this event to sell out.

Jackson Hole is a spectacular place in the winter, even for those who don’t ski or snowboard.  This location gets you into an expansive headspace, beyond the day to day and more open to new ideas and perspectives.

A few activities planned for this year’s event:

  • Ski/ride the incredible terrain of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort with local guides and insiders that know the mountain well.  JH offers beginner to expert terrain for all levels, and we include backcountry options for experienced skiers/riders.
  • Take a snowmobile trip to remote Granite Hot Springs built in the 1930s by the CCC, enjoy a spa day, take a Curvejump yoga class or snowshoe/cross country ski in Grand Teton National Park with local guides.
  • Curvejump workshops and participant-led breakout sessions on creative leadership, mindfulness, overcoming fear, getting unstuck and jumping to your next level of creative and professional development.
  • Makers and artisans of Jackson Hole's creative community: chef’s dinners, musical performances, artist exhibitions and visits to local maker studios.
  • And of course the 2018 Curvejumper Of The Year Award!

We’ve arranged three lodging options for Curvejump.  We recommend booking a room soon as JH is a popular winter destination.

  • Anvil Hotel is a newly renovated boutique motel located in downtown Jackson, 12 miles from the ski resort.  Public bus service is easily accessible to reach the ski resort each day.  You can book online here to get a Curvejump discount rate of 20%.  Rates start at $155/night.

  • Hotel Terra located at the base of Teton Village offers a true ski in/out experience, and was recently named by Travel+Leisure as the best hotel in Jackson Hole.  You can get a 15% discount rate by calling (866) 935-8938 and mentioning you're part of the Curvejump group or by using this booking link.  Rates start at $341/night.

  • Teton Mountain Lodge is located next door to Hotel Terra.  You can book with the same group discount by calling (855) 757-7847 and mentioning the Curvejump group or by using this booking link.  Rates start at $407/night.

Getting Here

We recommend flying directly into the Jackson Hole airport (JAC) and looking at flights now as fares will rise through the winter.  Nonstop flights are available from SFO, LAX, SLC, DEN, NYC and SEA, among others.  Nearby airports include Idaho Falls (90 mins), Pocatello (2 hours), and Salt Lake City (4.5 hours).

Here’s a preliminary look at what we have planned for the upcoming Curvejump Jackson Hole. Keep an eye on this page for updates.

Following a welcome dinner on Thursday evening, March 8th, each day will follow a similar schedule, with a mix of breakout sessions and different apres/dinner options for the group.
